- No. You do not need to be home for the delivery. Signature is not required, and your meat will stay nice and cold until you're able to transfer it to the freezer later the same day.
5) What if my meat is thawed upon delivery?
-
All meat is shipped frozen, with plenty of foam ice bricks and/or dry ice. Slight thawing can happen in some cases, but rest assured, the meat will stay at a safe temperature for several hours after delivery until you're able to place it in your freezer. Customers should expect beef that is beginning to thaw, NOT hard frozen, especially those in 2-3 day range, as is standard for all meat delivery by mail.
In the rare event your order is completely thawed, please contact us immediately.
6) Can I pick up my order?
- Yes! Select the "local pickup" option on the checkout page. Please make sure to place your order online and wait for our confirmation for pick up location, date, and time.
7) What do you feed?
- Our cattle are grass fed. We have also have feed custom milled at our local Livestock Nutrition Center. They mix a grass fed ration for us.
8) Do your products come fresh or frozen?
- Yes to both, although not in the context you are thinking. When someone asks if we sell any thing “fresh”, what they really mean is “thawed”. We have been conditioned by the grocery stores to equate thawed meat in a package as “fresh”, when in fact, it has probably been frozen, thawed, and refrozen several times before hitting the store shelves. Our meat is cut, vacuum sealed, and flash frozen, giving us the freshest products possible.
9) Do you sell to restaurants/grocery stores?
- Yes! If you would like to discuss a bulk order please contact us.
10) What is your refund policy?
- We cannot accept returns on any products. If you are unhappy with your order, please contact us immediately. If you are requesting a refund for any reason, we do require you to contact our office within 24 hours of delivery. All refunds are issued in the form of STORE CREDIT only and on a case by case basis.
